METHOD OF DRIVING THE CRANKSHAFT
The crankshaft drive method is usually used for hydraulic pumps that are mounted on the front of our trucks. For example, we can use it for cement mixer. The small shaft will have a U-connection design and attach to a yoke coupler to rotate the pump. Usually, we don't hear this configuration referred to as a PTO, but technically still classified as a PTO.
